Planning a tour of the Mercury Print Museum

Visitors are welcome Tuesday to Thursday. At present, visits are by appointment only.

School and special interest group tours can also be organised by prior arrangement.

Schools and special interest groups can book a one-hour organised tour of the historic Print Museum by contacting Damian Bester on 6230 0736 or by emailing museum@dbl.newsltd.com.au Tours are available Tuesday to Thursday.

Why not make a day of it and visit our neighbouring museums, too: the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (bookings 6211 4189) and the Maritime Museum of Tasmania (bookings 6234 1427) are both within a very short walk of the Mercury Print Museum.

Tours of the Mercury Print Museum are designed as a comprehensive educational package. They include:

• Teacher's Kit
• Resources for use in the classroom
• Students receive a copy of that day's edition of the Mercury newspaper and other resources.

Mercury Print Museum Tour bookings for schools and groups:

The cost of the school tour is $3 per student, with teachers and up to five adult helpers admitted free of charge.

An account for the total amount will be sent to the school after the tour.

Visiting the Print Museum - General Information:

General admission is $2.50 (or $7 for a family).

Special guided group tours are available on request for general interest groups, such as service clubs.
