First step in tree-top walk
This tiny article is full of numerous references to size, distance
and time for primary students' investigation. It also provides
for integration of Mathematics, Science and SOSE in regard to
the construction of man-made objects in Tasmania's State Forests
- an environmental issue. Also, the students can engage in an
information technology investigation by looking up the Forestry
website (http://www.forestrytas.com.au/)
to promote further interest and discussion.
