Two aces in one round beat 363 million-1 odds

This article might be used to motivate a discussion of probability. Unlikely events often attract estimates of odds or probabilities like given here. This article could be used if a series of events were being ordered from least likely to most likely.

Since odds and probability are not defined identically there is an inconsistency between the headline and the chance reported in the second last paragraph. [If the odds against: for as a:b then the probability of the event happening is b/(a+b)]

It would be interesting to speculate how the statistician calculated that such an event would occur once in 10,371 years!
