This survey appears to be an example of a voluntary phone-in poll. Such surveys are likely to be biased because only those with a strong view phone in. Students need to be made aware of the difficulties in this sort of sampling. As well they should comment on the form in which the question was asked. Does it encourage a "yes" response?
