Hydro cancer-link study
This article describes a study which is to take place to consider the risk of exposure to power lines. While the study is checking 10,000 addresses, it is not clear how they are related to the 855 people in the two matched groups. What are some possible explanations?
It is unlikely that the people in the two groups were matched on the basis of living near Hydro transmission lines. This is a retrospective study of factors linked to cancer and it will be interesting to hear a detailed analysis of the results.
