Revision History

The original development, in 1997, was funded by the Department of Employment, Education and Training (DEET) under the Strategic Initiatives Element of the National Professional Development Program. It formed part of a project entitled, "Learning the Unlikely at Distance Delivered as an Information Technology Enterprise", which was run by the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers Inc. AAMT during 1996-1997.

The updating of the site in 1999 was subsidized by the Mathematical Association of Tasmania.

The updating of the site in 2001-2002 was subsidized by a Teaching Development Grant at the University of Tasmania. Bachelor of Teaching students selected articles and wrote Student Questions and Teacher Discussions. An article concerning this project is to be published:

Watson, J. M. & Moritz, J. B. (in press). Quantitative literacy for pre-service teachers via the internet. Mathematics Teacher Education and Development.
