The 7m steel tower, the shortest of 12 in the 570m- long construction, will be installed in the Tahune State Forest over the next few days. Airwalk site manager Mark Evans expected the $4.5 million walk and visitors centre to be completed in June. The tallest tower will be 32m high, with all compo- nents pre-fabricated in Launceston. Visitors will be able to walk at canopy height in the forest at the site, 26km from Geeveston.
