LONG-SUFFERING bed-partners know what
an earful snorers can be, but Scottish
scientists say they are also a health hazard who
deprive loved ones of sleep.

Snorers wake up partners an average of 26
times a night and cut their sleep by 40%,
contributing to irritability, anxiety and
depression.

Men make up 44% of regular snorers,
compared with just 28% of women.
