LONG-SUFFERING bed-partners know what an earful snorers can be, but Scottish scientists say they are also a health hazard who deprive loved ones of sleep. Snorers wake up partners an average of 26 times a night and cut their sleep by 40%, contributing to irritability, anxiety and depression. Men make up 44% of regular snorers, compared with just 28% of women.
