Wedding bliss for
great debate rival

TWICE as many
Tasmanians watched
the Nanny get married as
those who viewed the
state election
debate on Sunday
night.

   An average of 74,000
Tasmanians watched
Premier Tony Rundle
and Opposition
Leader Jim Bacon
go head to head on
WIN Television.

	But over on Southern
Cross Television the
situation comedy The
Nanny pulled an
average of 161,000
viewers.

   The WIN figures
were not helped by
the station going off
air on the West Coast.

   WIN is offering to send
out a free video tape
to those who missed the
debate because of the
blackout.
